• You are responsible for obtaining your own Google Gemini API key from Google
• Google Gemini usage costs are separate and paid directly to Google
• BeBuddy does not handle payments, billing, or subscriptions

3. No Registration Required

BeBuddy does not require you to create an account or register:

• No email addresses, usernames, or personal information required
• You configure the application with your own Google Gemini API key
• All settings and data are stored locally on your device
• No server-side account management

4. How BeBuddy Works

BeBuddy is a real-time AI conversation assistant that:

• Listens to audio from your microphone and/or computer speakers
• Sends audio to Google Gemini AI using your API key
• Shows AI responses and suggestions in real-time
• Stores conversation history locally on your device

5. Required Permissions

BeBuddy requires certain system permissions to function:

• Microphone Access: To capture your voice and questions
• Screen Recording Permission (macOS): To capture computer audio from speakers/headphones
• Local Storage: To save settings, API keys, and conversation history on your device
• These permissions are used solely for application functionality

6. User Responsibilities

• Obtain and manage your own Google Gemini API key and associated costs
• Ensure proper consent before recording conversations with others
• Use the software in compliance with applicable laws and regulations
• Respect privacy rights and recording consent laws in your jurisdiction
• Keep your API keys secure and confidential
• Use the software for lawful purposes only

7. Prohibited Uses

You may not use BeBuddy to:

• Record conversations without proper consent where legally required
• Violate privacy laws or regulations in your jurisdiction
• Engage in illegal activities or harassment
• Reverse engineer, modify, or redistribute the software

8. Google Gemini Integration

BeBuddy integrates exclusively with Google Gemini AI:

• You must provide your own Google Gemini API key
• Audio data is sent directly from your device to Google Gemini
• Google's terms of service and privacy policy apply to their services
• BeBuddy acts as a client application, not a data processor
• API usage costs are your responsibility and paid directly to Google

9. Local Data Storage

All your data is stored locally on your device:

• Settings and preferences stored locally
• API keys stored locally
• Conversation history stored locally
• Screenshots and recordings stored locally
• No data is transmitted to or stored on BeBuddy's servers

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

BeBuddy is provided "as is" without any warranties, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the software will be error-free, secure, or continuously available. The accuracy of AI responses depends on Google Gemini's capabilities.

11. Limitation of Liability

BeCreatif.ai and BeBuddy shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the software, including but not limited to data loss, privacy breaches, or misuse of recorded content.
